A complaint filed Tuesday against Pasadena police officer Kevin Okamoto alleges that the former detective asked a witness to change testimony in an assault case to ensure a conviction.
The complaint, obtained by Pasadena Independent, alleges Okamoto obstructed justice and possibly violated department policy when he failed to turn over notes from a witness interview related to the allegations.
Attorney Michael Kraut sent the complaint to Pasadena Police Chief Sanchez which he has subsequently passed on to the District Attorney. To read of copy of the complaint, see our website: :www.pasadenaindependent.com.
