One Man Dead, Altadena Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Traffic Accident in Pasadena
A driver was killed and his passenger seriously injured when their car slammed into a tree Tuesday night. The 30 year old driver and his 21 year old passenger hit the tree approximately 8:37PM
Christian Robles, 30, of Desert Hot Springs died in the accident. His passenger, Vivian Ineguez, 23, from Altadena suffered multiple broken bones and lacerations and is in stable condidtion in Huntington Hospital.
The vehicle involved, was a 1994 Black Honda Civic .According to Pasadena PD, Robles was driving the vehicle westbound on Maple St. with Ineguez as the passenger. The vehicle apparently lost control and struck a tree on the north parkway of Maple St. Robles was pronounced at the scene and Ineguez was transported to Huntington Hospital where she was admitted and listed in stable condition. The Traffic unit responded for the investigation.
On Wednesday morning approximately 8 friends of the victim had gathered at the scene of the fatality and asked that no photos be taken of the makeshift memorial “out of respect.”
