ABOUT THE FEATURED ARTISTS:

7PM: JASPER SAWYER (jaspersawyermusic.com)
Jasper Sawyer is an aspiring R&B/Soul artist born and raised in Knoxville, TN looking to make his stamp on the music industry while drawing inspiration and echoing from past legendary crooners Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.

7:45PM: KATIE O. (katieorlofske.com)
Born and raised in the Ohio Valley, Katie O. is a country-pop singer songwriter who descended upon LA just a couple of months ago to make a mark in the music industry. Her heart-felt lyrics, incredible voice and dynamic style are sure to continue to make heads turn as she establishes herself as one of LA’s most talented emerging singer songwriters.

8:30PM: JAMESTOWN REVIVAL (jamestownrevival.com)
Coming off of a recent feature in Rolling Stone magazine, Jamestown Revival has received some serious buzz in an incredibly short amount of time. With an electric guitar, a keyboard, and a self-produced EP (which hit #12 on the iTunes charts), anticipation is high to see what’s next from this Texas duo.

Jamestown Revival is an idea formed by Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance. For lack of a better word, it could be called a “duo”, but that just doesn’t quite capture the essence of their delivery. This band is two-man rock & roll and the closest possible categorization you could label it with would sound something like “indie-rock with a southern slant”. Drawing on influences ranging from The Band, to Simon and Garfunkle, their sound is harmony driven and rooted in southern soul. The two are childhood friends, and the chemistry is evident when you see them perform. They’ve had music featured on shows including Sons on Anarchy, Private Practice, The Hills, The Real World, as well as an upcoming movie by Lionsgate (set to release 2012) , and have collectively sold over 120,000 songs on iTunes. They’ve accomplished this with no label and no major management. Friends since the age of 15, and having lived everywhere from New York City & Austin to Los Angeles, they’ve been on a steady mission to share the music they create. Currently residing on the West Coast, their focus is on the creation of a full length album and a calendar full of consistent touring.
