Beaver-Wells

WeddingJulia Catherine Beaver and Matthew Shernan Wells were married on October 17 in Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Susan Beaver of Fort Wayne, Indiana and the groom is the son of Dr. John and Judith Wells of Arcadia.

The bride is a graduate of Indiana University and received her Master’s Degree in International Education from The George Washington University. She was attended by her cousin Sara Pratt of Fisher’s, Indiana as matron of honor and bridesmaids Megan Beaver, sister-in-law, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Amanda McNary of Sarasota, Florida, Sarah Smith of Fort Wayne, Brenna Annstrong of Carmel, Indiana and Lauren Hagberg also of Fisher’s, Indiana.

The groom graduated from Boston College, received his Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan and is now a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Michigan. He was accompanied by his brother Martin Wells of Athens, Greece as best man. Brother-in-law Matthew Beaver of Fort Wayne, cousin Tom Martois of College Park, Maryland, George Sanchez of North Hollywood, Armando Pastran of San Francisco and JW Carpenter of Binningham, Alabama were groomsmen. Ushers were Boston College classmates Matthew Dickson of Dix Hills, New York, John Durbin of Chicago, Illinois, Kurt LaBelle of Brentwood, Missouri and Tom O’Reilly of Framingham, Massachusetts. The couple will honeymoon in Croatia.
