VIDEO OF THE DAY: WHITE SEA – “THEY DON’T KNOW”

For all the years they’ve been blessing us with fantastic synth-poppy goodness, French electronic band M83 has kept vocalist and keyboardist Morgan Kibby all to themselves. For the past two years while working with M83, Morgan has been working her own a separate M83 music alter ego on the sly under the moniker, “White Sea,” a solo project that has been pulling some synth-dappled pop variety with a touch more of Adele-like drama ballad from Morgan’s vocal end.

Morgan, a fellow Angeleno, releases the first single, “They Don’t Know,” off her March-sceduled album, with an awesome video to boot. Directed by Steven Johnson, Lady Gaga’s go-to guy for her own extensive videos, most of the video was shot underwater and without clothes — making for graceful visuals to accompany the equally graceful, yet thunderous single.
