Tyrone English may have been intentionally targeted by members of the Pasadena Denver Lane Bloods gang
Pasadena Police detectives have received new information related to the 2013 murder of Monrovia resident, Tyrone English, 35.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at approximately 8:42 p.m. Pasadena Police Officers responded to the 600 block of North Mar Vista Avenue regarding a shooting call. Officers arrived on scene and located the unresponsive victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. English was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the initial investigation, Pasadena detectives worked diligently following up on all information provided by witnesses and members of the public. Unfortunately, the information did not lead to the identity of the person(s) responsible for the murder.
Recent information has come to light providing Pasadena detectives an opportunity to further this investigation. New information suggests that English was intentionally targeted by members of the Pasadena Denver Lane Bloods criminal street gang resulting in his murder.
Pasadena detectives are now following up on the newly acquired information to positively identify the person(s) responsible for the murder.
