The members of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Arcadia invite families of all faiths to join them in their eighth annual, free, fun-filled Halloween Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. Church members will create a ghostly adventure suitable for children of all ages in the church parking lot at 400 W. Duarte Road. Last year, over 250 people, including children, parents and friends enjoyed this Halloween event.
Congregation members will open the trunks of their cars revealing creative and elaborate Halloween decorations. Children are invited to visit each car and receive a special treat. Be sure to pack a bag and wear your costume. Adding to this fun-filled evening, professional puppeteer Kevin Noonchester will present a brand-new show featuring Zorro.
Event organizers say this is one of their all-time favorite activities because it is always so much fun and it provides them an opportunity to serve the community by offering a safe alternative to the traditional door-to-door visits by little ghouls and goblins.
No reservations are required. For more information, call Lynne or Vern Whitaker at (626) 446-7860.
