SONG OF THE DAY: LORDE – “ROYALS”

While the LAC clubhouse has been rocking out to all things Daft Punk lately (thanks Pharrell), we have also found the sultry voice of Lorde irresistible. Lorde’s debut EP, The Love Club dropped at the end of November 2012, and finally crossed oceans to reach our ears in the States. Over the last few months, she signed to Universal Records, completed her first music video, and booked an extended, sold-out tour of New Zealand and Australia . All while barely pushing a C cup and the greater part of her teenage years.  She may only be 16, but something about those deep bass patterns, her music video imagery, and those curly locks keeps us coming back for more. And curious to see what this New Zealand native has in store next. Rebecca Black, eat your heart out.
