The Line Hotel
Location: Koreatown
Home to Roy Choi’s restaurant POT (a must-try), the Insta-famous Commisary, Poketo and amazing pool parties, The Line is the one-stop-shop of hotels. You can wake up and go from having breakfast at the Comissary, to shopping at Poketo, grabbing lunch at POT and come nightfall, grab killer drinks, sing karaoke and dance the night away at the 80’s style bar, Break Room 86. The Line is always full of options.
Location: Downtown
The Ace Hotel is a haven to those who travel frequently. No matter what location you’re staying in, you know there will be a unique element to it and their DTLA location is no exception. Within the hotel you will find their restaurant L.A. Chapter, Upstairs (their breathtaking pool and bar) and The Theatre, a historic venue that is always bustling with activity, whether it’s a film screening or a breathtaking concert. It’s a sight to see.
Location: Downtown
Easily the sexiest rooftop in LA, The Standard is the place to go for a guaranteed (nightly) pool party and a match of Ping-Pong. Lined with the iconic red dome beds, The Rooftop has a nightly DJ as well as a heated pool for year round partying, a Beirgarten (Pretzels and beer are always available) and a Ping-Pong club if you want to get extra creative with your drinking games.
Location: Hollywood
The Roosevelt has not one, but six bars and we have never been one to complain. Check in for the pool and bar at The Tropicana, but stick around through the night for the drinks at Library bar and various entertainment zones nestled inside the historic building. Dine at Public Kitchen and bar, bowl in the Spare Room, or find your way to the luxurious Teddy’s or Beachers Madhouse. There’s never a dull moment.
The Redbury Hotel
Location: Hollywood
Ranked #1 in Travel and Leisure’s The Best Hotels of Los Angeles, The Redbury doesn’t follow suit with the unspoken ‘mandatory pool’ rule, however, being right on Hollywood and Vine, the nightlife options are endless. Just next door is Bardot, a nightclub that hosts It’s a School Night, a free concert that is put on every Monday and just down the street is bar Wood & Vine, The Oinkster, The Fonda and the Museum of Death.
