NYD Brunch: A Proper Start to 2016

You can’t deny it – you already know you won’t be seeing the am on New Year’s Day. No matter what party (or parties) you hit up, chances are, you’re gonna be out past the ball drop, past the new year’s kiss, past the range of an acceptable bedtime, if it were any other day of the year.

Which means – you’ll be missing breakfast on January 1st. While it’s not ideal to skip breakfast, it is perfectly a-okay if you’re planning on supplementing it with an even better, more important meal. Yep, you already know- brunch.

Artisan House - Mothers Guilty Buttermilk Pancakes - Credit Aliza J. SokolowLAC loves brunch for several reasons. It keeps the previous night’s party goin’, it offers the variety of two different meals, and it almost always connotes a social aspect, full of laughter and Instagram (or Kodak, for you old souls) moments.

So let’s kick off the new year right, and fill your tummies with nothing but great food from great places. The bacon on top of the Bloody Mary? The special menus and deals that these restaurants are offering. Get ready to salivate and celebrate…
