New Medical Director Named for Pasadena’s Jim and Eleanor Randall Breast Center

The Hill Medical Corporation introduced Lakshmi C. Tegulapalle, D.O. as Medical Director for the Jim and Eleanor Randall Breast Center.

“We are honored that Dr. Tegulapalle accepted the position,” said The Hill Medical Corporation President Christopher G. Hedley, M.D. “She has been fundamental in the growth of our organization, and I know Dr. Tegulapalle will use her clinical expertise and leadership experience to elevate our breast program. Dr. Tegulapalle is in tune with technological and diagnostic advancements in mammography and women’s imaging. She is a great communicator and a strong advocate for women’s health. Under her leadership, our breast specialists will continue delivering the highest level of patient-centered care.”

Dr. Tegulapalle succeeds Jon M. Foran M.D., who led the Jim and Eleanor Randall Breast Center for nine years and will remain an active member of the radiology group.

“It’s an honor to take on this new role and to work with such a skilled group of professionals,” said Dr. Tegulapalle. “Our focus at the Randall Breast Center will continue to be on providing a first-class experience to every patient—from the initial call to the Center, to the waiting area and screening room, and throughout diagnosis and treatment. We want to develop lifelong relationships with our patients and to be partners in the health of women in our community.”

Dr. Tegulapalle joined the radiology group in 2008, where she specializes in all image-guided breast procedures, 3D tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She was the first female radiologist at the breast center and has been instrumental in developing the breast program. As medical director, she will be responsible for overall quality assurance and community outreach.

Prior to joining The Hill Medical Corporation, Dr. Tegulapalle worked for the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center in Chicago. She completed her fellowship training in women’s imaging at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.
