A man was fatally shot in a parking lot near a beach in Long Beach, authorities said Wednesday.
The man died at the scene of the shooting, which was reported about 10:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of East Ocean Boulevard, said Long Beach police Lt. Paul Gallo.
The name of the victim, who was in his 20s, was withheld pending notification of his relatives, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was released.
The fatally wounded man was found near a silver sedan with its side windows “shot out,” according to Fox11.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
