Dazzling contemporary art nights from Feb. 27-March 3

Digital Nature 2019 is an art exhibit featuring unique, site-specific artworks projected onto the night landscape of the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. Inspired by the natural world and technology, a group of contemporary artists explore themes as diverse as butterfly camouflage, bird songs and heavy metal, and interactive digital wildflowers.

Digital Nature, first presented in 2016, at the Arboretum, transforms the garden into an outdoor gallery of art, video and sound installations. Some are interactive, some with sound or live performances, others silent. All are illuminated.

Participating Artists in Digital Nature 2019:

  • John Carpenter and Justin Shrake.
  • Adam Donnelly and David Janesko.
  • Tim Durfee.
  • Mia Feuer.
