March 15
Shortly before 10:28p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 1400 block of Rodeo Roadregarding a battery report. A verbal argument turned physical when a wifeattacked her husband. Both parties sustained injuries but the 36-year-oldfemale, from Arcadia, was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail forbooking.
March 16
Just after 9:42 a.m.,an officer responded to Bank of America, located at 180 N. Santa Anita Ave.,regarding a commercial burglary report. Surveillance footage revealed an unknownsuspect attempted to retrieve deposits from the drop safe for night deposits.The investigation is ongoing.
At approximately1:10 p.m., an officer responded to the United States Post Office, located at725 W. Duarte Road, regarding a vehicle burglary report. As the victim wasdropping off her mail in the outgoing mail box, the suspect smashed her frontpassenger window and fled with her purse. The suspect is described as aHispanic male, between 20 and 25-years-old, approximately 5-foot-8” to5-foot-10, and was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulledover his head. The investigation is ongoing.
March 17
Around 1:51 p.m.,an officer responded to Sunglass Hut inside Macy’s, located at 400 S. BaldwinAve., regarding a grand theft report. An investigation revealed a singlesuspect stole three pairs of designer sunglasses and a cellphone. The suspectis described as a male, approximately 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, and he was wearinga blue jacket, grey sweatpants, and a dark colored baseball hat. Theinvestigation is ongoing.
Just before 2:03p.m., officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the area of Huntington Driveand Michillinda Avenue. The driver pulled over in front of 24 Hour Fitness, locatedat 125 N. First Ave. The 18-year-old female, from Los Angeles, was ultimatelyarrested. She was also charged with driving without a license. She wastransported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
At approximately4:34 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of West Huntington Driveregarding a grand theft report. The victim discovered her catalytic converterhad been stolen from her vehicle sometime between Saturday, March 14 andTuesday, March 17. No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
March 18
At approximately8:24 a.m., an officer responded to Arcadia Congregational Church, located at2607 S. Santa Anita Ave., regarding a vandalism report. The officer determinedan unknown suspect spray-painted on the church and broke into a detached rentalhall. The investigation is ongoing.
Around 11:20 a.m.,officers responded to Executive Environmental, located at 310 E. Foothill Blvd.,regarding a vandalism report. A witness saw the suspect throwing rocks at vehicles,which broke a windshield. A 43-year-old male, from Los Angeles, was arrestedand transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.
Shortly after 1p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Warren Way regarding a theftfrom a vehicle report. Surveillance footage revealed two suspects entered thevictim’s vehicles and then fled with miscellaneous items and a checkbook. Thesuspects are described as two Hispanic males, both 25 to 30-years-old, andapproximately 6 feet tall. The investigation is ongoing.
At about 10:22 p.m.,officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Singing Wood Driveregarding a residential burglary in progress. An investigation revealed theresidents were home when their home was burglarized. The loss is unknown andthe investigation is ongoing.
March 19
Around 12 a.m.,an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Naomi Avenueregarding a residential burglary report. The officer determined the suspect cuta screen from a bedroom window, entered the home, and fled with stolen property.No suspects were seen and no witnesses were located.
March 20
At about 12:39 p.m.,an officer responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Ramona Road regardinga fraud report. An investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) used an emailaddress, without authorization, to trick the victim into wiring money todifferent accounts. The investigation is ongoing.
Just before 2:26p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of El Dorado Streetregarding a fraud report. The officer discovered the suspect deposited moneyinto the victim’s account by unknown fraudulent means and then convinced thevictim to transfer the money to multiple unknown accounts. The investigation isongoing.
March 21
Shortly after 1:08a.m., officers responded to Paco’s Mexican Restaurant, located at 200 E.Foothill Blvd., regarding a commercial burglary report. An investigationrevealed unknown suspects pried open a rear door and fled with an undisclosedamount of money. The investigation is ongoing.
