Featuring original members of the legendary ’80s group, Oingo Boingo will dance the night away at The Rose in Pasadena, on Friday, Oct. 12 as part of their Halloween tour. On this special Halloween tour date, the band will be playing the acclaimed album “Dead Man’s Party” in its entirety, plus other Oingo Boingo favorites.

Originally formed by Danny Elfman in 1979, Oingo Boingo was most well known for their hits “Dead Man’s Party” and “Weird Science.” Oingo Boingo Dance Party features original ’80s and ’90s era Oingo Boingo members Johnny “Vatos” Hernandez (drums/jefe), Sam “Sluggo” Phipps (saxophone), Carl Graves (keyboard/vox), Steve Bartek (guitar), and John Avila (bass), along with Brendan McKian (vocals), Mike Glendinning (guitar/vox), Freddy Hernandez (bass), Brian Swartz (trumpet), and Felice Hernandez (backing vocals).

Fans can expect to hear a number of Oingo Boingo hits including “Dead Man’s Party,” “Weird Science,” “We Close Our Eyes,” “Only A Lad,” “Just Another Day,” “Stay,” “Out Of Control,” “Who Do You Want To Be,” “Gratitude,” “Private Life,” and many more. To quote legendary DJ Richard Blade of The World Famous KROQ and SiriusXM’s 1st Wave fame, Oingo BoingoDance Party remains, “the best Oingo Boingo band until Hell freezes over.”

Halloween is almost here, and what better a way to celebrate the “hour of the wolf” than with Oingo Boingo Dance Party, featuring original members of the legendary ’80s group. In light of the “full moon” holiday, Oingo Boingo Dance Party has announced a string of high-energy Halloween shows set to pass through California this month.

Other Los Angeles-based dates on the run include The Canyon Club in Agora Hills on Oct. 13 and the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills on Oct. 27.
