

One arrested after SUV crashes on 110 Freeway
One person was taken into custody following a pursuit of a stolen SUVthat ended in a crash on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles, prompting theclosure of all southbound lanes Thursday morning, according to multiple reportson local television stations.
The body that was inside the hearse SUV when it was stolen from outside Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church at 778 S. Rosemead Blvd. in East Pasadena around 8 p.m. on Wednesday was found in the back of the vehicle after it crashed.
There were initially two bodies in the vehicle when it arrived tothe church, but one was taken into the church and when they came back out toget the other body, the SUV was gone, according to reports.
A citizen called police when he noticed the SUV and police startedthe pursuit at about 7:35 a.m. in the area of Figueroa and 23rd streets, accordingto the Los Angeles Police Department.
Aerial video showed a damaged Lincoln Navigator with the same license plate as the one stolen from outside the East Pasadena church the night before. A casket was visible in the back of the vehicle.
