Are you Itching this spring to do something fun and creative? Arcadia Public Library is offering two craft programs for adults interested in exploring their artistic sides.

On Saturday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., adults can experiment with making hypertufa planters. Hypertufa is a type of light porous stone made with Portland cement, perlite, peat moss and water that can be used to create molded containers. Learn about the benefits of hypertufa planters and create your own! All supplies provided, but wear your gardening clothes. Registration is required via Eventbrite or by calling (626) 821-5569.

On the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m., the Library hosts “Adult Recess,” where adults go to play, craft, color, and more. Adult Recess on Tuesday, April 2, features Friendship bracelets—and there is always the option of coloring. Supplies, snacks, and drinks are provided. Registration is only required for the bracelets. Register by calling (626) 821-5569.

These events are open to adults 18 or older only. For more information, please call (626) 821-5569 or visit the Arcadia Public Library’s website at ArcadiaCA.gov/library. The Arcadia Public Library is located at 20 W. Duarte Rd., Arcadia. The Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You can also follow the Library on Facebook and Twitter.
