Monrovia Renewal will start on the community neighboring the foothills early next year. The impacted areas will be north of Hillcrest Boulevard up to the city line.

When Hillcrest Boulevard ends at Grand Avenue, the impacted area will dip down to Greystone Avenue. The work will include upgrades to the sewer and water lines as well as improving the streets and sidewalks.

There will be an informational meeting for members of the community on Jan. 23 of next year from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm in the Library Community Room (321 South Myrtle Avenue).

The meeting will include information on the construction activities and schedule as well as how this will impact the residents.

For more information about Monrovia Renewal or the meeting next month, contact the Public Works Division at the city at (626) 932-5575 of by checking the city’s website at monroviarenewal@ci.monrovia.ca.us
