Centre Stage Inc., a non-profit community theatre company, will offer five different showings of Charles Dickens’ timeless “A Christmas Carol.” This musical adaptation, featuring music by the Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken (Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” “Little Shop of Horrors”) and Lynn Ahrens (“Ragtime,” “Seussical,” “Once on This Island”), will breathe new life into this classic tale.

“A Christmas Carol” brings 19th century London to life with favorite characters like Tiny Tim and the Cratchit family; the Fezziwigs; the ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet-to-come; and of course that humbug-throwing curmudgeon, Ebenezer Scrooge.

Audiences can attend a production of “A Christmas Carol” on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. or Dec. 15 and Dec. 16 at either 2 or 7 p.m. Tickets range from $15 for general admission to $25 for VIP and can be purchased at centrestageinc.com. Centre Stage Inc. is located at IFGF Monrovia at 147 W. Palm Ave.
