Bank robber threatens victims to make “no sudden moves”
By Staff
The latest bank bandit is linked to robberies in west Los Angeles, Monrovia, and Culver City. The FBI dubbed the thief “Twirly Head Bandit” due to the circular shape on his head seen in surveillance photos.
Authorities did not reveal how much money the robber stole from the Chase Bank at 102 W. Foothill Blvd. just after 5:31 p.m on June 28.
FBI Los Angeles spokesperson Laura Eimiller said the man told the teller he wanted to make a deposit then passed the teller a note demanding money in various denominations. The note also ordered the victim to stay calm and not to make any sudden moves, according to Eimiller. Please call (310) 477-6565 with tips.
