Snow days return Dec. 26 – 30

Break out your mittens, boots, and hats to play in real snow at Kispace Children’s Museum. Have the little ones build snowmen, make snowballs and snow angels. Then watch their creativity take flight as they create winter themed crafts and decorate cookies.

Educational opportunities abound during snow days. “The Snowflake,” an interactive storytime at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, will teach kids about the water cycle.

There will also be live performance each day at 1 p.m. Keep the holiday spirit going with traditional carols sung by the Children’s Choir on Wednesday, Dec. 26. On Dec. 27 Shakti Circus will delight attendees with their interactive hula hoop show and stilt walking. On Friday, Dec. 28 snow princesses will lead a sing along of favorite winter tunes and then stay to meet and greet their young fans. Enjoy a classic marionette performance with Joe Selph and his puppet characters on Dec. 29. Snow day performances will end on Sunday, Dec. 30 with a live animal show where kids can meet a fox, rabbit, owl and other winter animals.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91103. Snow Days will run Dec. 26 through Dec. 30, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. For more information, visit KidspaceMuseum.org.
