Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau Opens First Pop-Up Shop

Offering exclusive merchandise and informational assistance to incoming guests

With joyous holiday festivities quickly approaching, and families planning trips to Pasadena for the 130th Rose Parade and 105th Rose Bowl Game, the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau announced on Tuesday it will open its first-ever pop-up shop and offsite Visitors Center in Old Pasadena. From Dec. 13 through Jan. 5, 2019, local residents and incoming guests can visit Indiana Colony on historic Colorado Boulevard to purchase exclusive merchandise and speak to representatives about what to do, see and eat in Pasadena.

Items for purchase include souvenirs of Pasadena branded mugs, water bottles, tote bags and more. The seasonal store will be located in the storefront of Indiana Colony (59 E. Colorado Blvd.), Tuesday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The shop will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. The schedule for New Year’s Eve is subject to change.

In addition, now through Dec. 31, the Pasadena Convention and Visitors Bureau will offer assistance via its toll-free Visitor Hotline at (877)-793-9911. Available to local and incoming guests, the hotline will assist with questions and information regarding the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game, all parade and game-day activities, parking, hotel accommodations, dining, directions, New Year’s events and more. Hours of operation (PST) for the hotline are as follows:

  • Monday, Dec. 3 – Friday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 10 – Friday, Dec. 14 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 17 – Friday, Dec. 21 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, December 24th – Friday, Dec. 28 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hours of operation for the hotline are subject to change on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The hotline will be closed on Christmas Day.
