Wednesday morning was the holiday breakfast for the Arcadia Association of Realtors where they gave out donation checks for the charitable giving that they fundraise for throughout the year.

Among the organizations that received a donation were Foothill Unity Center, the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council, Monrovia Reads, and Rebuilding Together – San Gabriel Valley Foothills among others.

Betty McWilliams, executive director of Foothill Unity Center received the donation for the Center. Sue Cook accepted the donation on behalf of the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council to help with campership scholarships. David Gooler, president of Rebuilding together, received the donation for the organization. Janet Wall from Monrovia Reads accepted the donation on behalf of her group.

Each charity submitted a grant request application earlier in the year and went through a review and selection process by a committee.
