The annual Salute to Seniors Luncheon sponsored by the Arcadia Rotary Club will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive. At this special event, the Arcadia Rotary Club along with the City Council, Senior Commissioners, and other guests will honor Lee Shimmin, the City of Arcadia 2019 Senior of the Year.
Over the past 39 years Lee has volunteered in many capacities ranging from board member to President for many Arcadia organizations. Lee has not only volunteered countless hours to the Arcadia Community, but has also made generous contributions by speaking at various civic groups on the history of Arcadia. The City would like to congratulate Lee for his service, dedication, and contribution to the community.
