Rosemead to host free self-defense class for the community

The city of Rosemead, in partnership with the Senior Fight Back organization, is hosting a free self-defense class for the community on March 28, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Garvey Park’s field area.

This interactive class will provide participants with practical tools, safety awareness techniques, and resources designed to help individuals protect and defend themselves against potential acts of violence. The class is open to adults ages 18 and over, and seniors are especially encouraged to attend.

Registration is highly encouraged at SFBRosemead2026.eventbrite.com.

For more information or to register for the class, get in touch with Public Safety Supervisor Mandy Wong at 626-569-2168 or mwong@rosemeadca.gov.
