The City of Long Beach is hosting its first-ever Doing Business with the City Expo. The in-person event is designed to help businesses and nonprofits learn how to sell their goods and services to the city. It will also highlight opportunities related to the upcoming 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Expo will take place on Thursday, April 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wardlow Park Social Hall (3457 Stanbridge Ave.).
The expo will feature presentations on the city’s procurement process — including vendor registration and certification — as well as business opportunities related to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and available business support resources.
Attendees will also have a chance to meet directly with staff from various city departments to learn about their specific procurement needs. Businesses and nonprofits that are interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP online. Interpretation services will be provided by request.
Businesses are also invited to attend the monthly Doing Business with the city webinar, with the next one occurring on Thursday, March 19 at 11 a.m. This webinar will provide an overview of the city’s procurement process and available resources. Participants will receive Zoom meeting details upon completion of this registration form.
