On Monday, the City of Corona will host an informational meeting for anyone, ages 12 and up, who is interested in learning more about the volunteer opportunities that are available through the city’s Community Services Department. The meeting will be held at Corona Public Library- Frances Aldana Martinez Community Room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There are volunteer opportunities for both short and long-term commitments. All prospective volunteers for long-term opportunities must pass a background check, including those under 18. Plan ahead as the process can take 4 to 6 weeks.

The City of Corona cannot accept court-referred or school-mandated volunteers who need to complete their hours to meet disciplinary requirements. For more information, visit community.coronaca.gov.
