West Covina’s third annual Super Moon Festival is set next weekend featuring vendors, music, entertainment, performances, mooncakes, food and more.
The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at West Covina City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Ave. S.
The New Romantics, a Taylor Swift tribute band, is scheduled to take the stage from 7 to 9 p.m.
The city is providing Uber rideshare vouchers in connection with the festival within West Covina city limits to and from the Civic Center, a 0.25-mile radius, according to event organizers. Vouchers are valid 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Oc. 4 with a maximum of two rides per voucher. Riders pay the first $5 for each trip, and the city subsidizes up to $20 for the ride thereafter. The offer
“applies to Uber’s ‘Share’ and ‘WAV’ ride types only.”
Vouchers are available online at r.uber.com/rhvfhwrpiyt.
This fall’s super moon is forecast to peak during the evening of Oct. 6.
