Applications are now available for prospective participants in the 2025 Duarte Route 66 Parade, a celebration of community pride, culture and history along the famous cross-country roadway, organizers said.
The Duarte Route 66 Parade Committee chose “City of Champions” as this year’s theme, which will highlight and celebrate athletes who represent the city.
Individuals, schools, community groups, sports teams, marching bands, classic car clubs and local organizations were encouraged to participate, city officials said.
To apply, participants must complete both sides of the application form and submit it no later than Sept. 7. Entries are limited, so organizers strongly encouraged early submission. Completed applications can be mailed to the Duarte Route 66 Parade Committee, P.O. Box 1122, Duarte, CA 91009, or emailed to Route66Parade@gmail.com.
