Lakers to open preseason at Acrisure Arena against Phoenix

The Los Angeles Lakers will start the preseason at Acrisure Arena Oct. 3 against the Phoenix Suns, the team announced this week. 

Tickets went on sale Friday and are available via Ticketmaster and at the arena box office, 75702 Varner Road in Palm Desert.

The Lakers also announced they will play preseason games at Crypto.com Arena on Oct. 12 against the Golden State Warriors and Oct. 17 against the Sacramento Kings, with tickets going on sale in August.

The Lakers will host another preseason game Oct. 15 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas versus the Dallas Mavericks. Tickets went on sale Friday at axs.com and the arena box office.

The team finished the 2024-25 season third in the NBA’s Western Conference with a 50-32 record. The Minnesota Timberwolves, who finished sixth in the conference at 49-33, eliminated the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs four games to one.
