A Silver Alert was issued Saturday for a 76-year-old woman who was reported missing in Moreno Valley.

Diane Maynord was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Friday near Hospital Road and Nason Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Maynord is white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 141 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black nightgown and a medical bracelet, the CHP said.

On Thursday at approximately 11 a.m., 65-year-old Benjamin Frias was last seen walking near the intersection of Sunbird Drive and Sunlit Court in Moreno Valley, the CHP reported.

Frias is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with white hair and green eyes, authorities said. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, pants and dark-colored shoes.

Anyone who has seen Maynord or Frias was asked to call 911.

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of people who are elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired.
