68-year-old woman with health disorders goes missing in Arcadia

A 68-year-old woman with a mental health disorder was reported missing in Arcadia, and Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in locating her.

Latanya Baker was last seen on March 4 at 4:00 p.m. on the 5600 block of Gracewood Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.

Investigators described her as Black, 6 feet tall, weighing 300 pounds with black hair and black eyes. Baker was last seen wearing a brown dress and blue slippers.

“Baker is diagnosed with health and mental disorders, and she is dependent on medication,” according to the LASD. “There is concern for her well-being.”
