Rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a November 2021 shooting, according to multiple media reports.
The 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was arrested after arriving on a private plane from Barbados, where he had been on vacation with his pregnant girlfriend, the singer Rihanna, according to NBC News and TMZ.
The Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately confirm the arrest.
The arrest stems from a November 2021 shooting in which an alleged victim claimed Rocky shot at him three or four times, grazing his left hand, according to the reports.
NBC4 reported that the alleged shooting took place around 10:20 p.m. Nov. 6 near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave. in Hollywood.
