Four leaders of a climate change protest were arrested Wednesday after chaining themselves to the entrance of a Chase bank branch in downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department officers with riot gear responded at approximately 4:15 p.m. to Seventh and Francisco streets after the protesters had blocked anyone who tried to enter or exit the bank.

Officers then called for additional traffic control and blocked off the streets until 5:30 p.m.

Officers were able to remove the chains using bolt cutters.
