Firefighters contain slow-moving vegetation fire in Hollywood Hills

Firefighters contained a slow-moving vegetation fire Saturday that was burning in light to medium brush in the Hollywood Hills.

A total of 55 firefighters were dispatched at 10:53 a.m. to the 2500 block of East Cahuenga Boulevard. Firefighters stopped the progress of the fire in 27 minutes, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.

The fire burned less than two acres, Prange said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
