A man was killed in Pomona and police Friday are investigating his shooting.
Officers responded at 11 p.m. Thursday to the area of Holt Avenue and Paloma Drive and found the victim on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Sgt. Edgard Padilla of the Pomona Police Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being held pending notification of next of kin.
The motive for the crime is not yet known and no further details were available, Padilla said.
