The Department of Beaches and Harbors announced that their “Beach Eats” event at Marina Beach in Marina del Ray will be extended until Nov. 18.

The event, which happens every Thursday from 5-9 pm, is a gourmet food truck lot where patrons can order made-to-order meals at a variety of trucks. Using the website Best Food Trucks, people can place orders five days in advance, or they can order food in person.

On the site, Beach Eats has already announced its lineup for food trucks this upcoming week. The six on that list include:

  • The Tropic Truck (Caribbean)
  • Maravilla Latin Cuisine (Cuban & Colombian)
  • Habibi Shack (Mediterranean)
  • StopBye Cafe (Asian Fusion)
  • Veggie Bomb (Vegan)
  • Scooter’s Italian Ice (Dessert)

When there, patrons are encouraged to wear a face cover and maintain a physical distance of six-plus feet from others outside of their group.

Parking is available in Lot #11 at a rate of $0.25 for every 10 minutes. There is also a $2 minimum for credit card payments.

For more information about the event, continue to look on their site or visit the Best Food Trucks app.
