Missing 98-year-old Carson man with dementia located

A 93-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing in Carson was located, authorities said Monday.

George Yoshisa Nakamatsu was found at 9:48 p.m. Sunday, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Information Bureau. There was no word about where Nakamatsu was found or who found him.

Nakamatsu had last been seen around 11 a.m. Sunday in the 22100 block of South Garston Avenue, according to Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Ortiz.
