A man shot to death in the unincorporated Florence area of Los Angeles was publicly identified Monday.
Jesus Muniz, 49, was a Los Angeles resident, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting occurred about 12:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of 77th Place, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Eva Jimenez.
Responding deputies found the victim now identified as Muniz unresponsive on the sidewalk, she said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No motive or suspect description were available.
