Two men and one woman were arrested after leading police on a short pursuit in a stolen vehicle in San Marino, authorities announced Wednesday.

Officers observed the vehicle at about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Huntington Drive and San Marino Avenue, according to San Marino Police Department Sgt. Candice Torres.

The vehicle fled when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop and sped through a residential area into the 1300 block of Cambridge Road, where three occupants got out of the car and ran away.

One suspect was immediately detained at the scene, and police set up a perimeter in the area to locate the other two, Torres said.

Officers located the outstanding suspects with the aid of a police helicopter and took them into custody without further incident. Police later determined that one suspect broke into a residence in the 1300 block of Cambridge Road in an attempt to evade officers.

The suspects were identified as Joanna Facio, 22, of Los Angeles and Maywood residents Roman Magdelano, 24, and Reynaldo Noriega, 30. All three were booked at Pasadena Jail.

Police are investigating the incident and asked anyone with information to contact San Marino Police Department Detective Hernandez at 626- 300-0728. To submit an anonymous tip online, go to lacrimestoppers.org.
