Two Suspects Arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery

On Nov. 8 at about 12:05 a.m., a female adult victim called the Pasadena Police Department to report a suspicious vehicle occupied by two individuals in the 1400 block of Rose Villa Street. Officers responded and contacted the two occupants of the vehicle and commenced their investigation.

Officers learned from their investigation that the suspects may have followed the victim home from the area of Lake Avenue and California Boulevard, where the victim first noticed the suspect vehicle. Officers searched the suspect vehicle and recovered a stolen handgun. It is believed the suspects followed the victim home to commit a robbery. The victim did not know the two male suspects.

Arrested for conspiracy to commit armed robbery were: Christopher Savery, male, 23, Hawthorne resident, who is currently on parole for receiving stolen property; Cory Hartfield, male, 19, Las Vegas, NV resident.

Both suspects were booked and are currently held at the Pasadena Police Department’s jail where Hartfield is held with a bail of $50,000. Savery is being held with a no bail parole hold.
