Bicycle Accident Leaves Rider in Critical Condition
PASADENA, CA –The Pasadena Police Department is investigating a bicycle accident that left the bicycle rider in critical condition. The police department received a call of a bicyclist that was down in the street on Allen Ave near Las Lunas St. Pasadena Fire Department personnel arrived and transported the rider to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries to his neck and head. The victim is an Asian male in his 20s.
The police department’s accident investigation team was called to the scene and a preliminary investigation shows that at approximately 2:55 pm, the bicyclist was riding north on Allen Ave approaching Las Lunas St in the parking lane when he struck the rear of a parked car on Allen Ave. The investigation is ongoing.
