Ice House Comedian Craig Robinson Debuts New Sitcom

Ice House comedic alumnus and friend of the club, Craig Robinson’s new sitcom debuted with two back to back episodes on NBC on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and it will continue to air back to back episodes at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. Titled Mr. Robinson, the show centers around “Craig Robinson,” a musician by night who takes a day job as a music substitute at a middle school, in the hopes of winning back an old flame who teaches there. As an actor, singer, musician and comedian, the show is a perfect vehicle for Craig Robinson’s many talents and charismatic personality. Tune in to NBC on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. to catch Mr. Robinson and support this amazing entertainer and genuinely good guy. Craig Robinson has formerly appeared in the U.S. version of The Office, as warehouse foreman Darryl Philbin, as well as major roles in movie cult hits, Hot Tub Time Machine 1 and 2, as Nick Webber and in Seth Rogan’s apocalyptic comedy This Is The End, where he played himself. He recently completed a run of the Monty Python-based musical Spamalot at the Hollywood Bowl, where he portrayed none other than King Arthur.
