Mijares Mexican Restaurant in the Pasadena area will be hosting athletes from the Special Olympics for this year’s games. The teams from Paraguay and Morocco will be staying in Pasadena. They will be bused over from the respective hotels and in their country’s colors. They arrive at Mijares on July 22 at 5 p.m. and will depart at 7:30 p.m., according to Tom Recendez.
Mijares is the only restaurant in the Pasadena area that will be hosting athletes from the Special Olympics.
