Phyllis Currie Retires from Pasadena Water and Power

After 14 years of leadership, Pasadena Water and Power General Manager Phyllis Currie retired on June 30, 2015. The city will be conducting a nationwide search for a permanent General Manager. During this transition, the City Manager has appointed Eric Klinkner as Interim General Manager. Klinkner is currently the Deputy General Manager, a role he has held for more than a decade. His utility experience covers a wide range that includes power generation, transmission, trading and scheduling, water and power conservation, renewable resource procurement, and environmental and strategic policy development.
