Free Divorce Options Workshops for Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley

Pasadena Collaborative Divorce is pleased to announce it will be offering the following free workshops the second Tuesday of March, April, May and June. Attend to be more fully informed about effective divorce alternatives that can better preserve a family’s respect and financial resources. Few people are actually familiar with all the divorce options. The flyer is attached.
Attendees learn to understand and manage the legal, financial and emotional aspects of divorce. Topics: the different divorce options, the pros and cons and relative costs of each, divorce-related terms, and which approach may provide your desired outcomes under different financial or interpersonal circumstances. Some distinct types of divorce include, for example:
• Do-it-yourself Divorce
• Traditional Mediation, Co-Mediation & Enhanced Mediation
• Collaborative Divorce
• Traditional Litigated Divorce
Professionals from Pasadena Collaborative Divorce answer questions as time permits, and help you know how to get started. We are licensed mental health professionals (“Divorce Coaches,” “Child & Co-parenting Specialists”), financial specialists (e.g. CPA’s trained specifically in divorce matters), and attorneys. Aside from our profession-specific licenses, all presenters are intensively trained in Collaborative Divorce protocols, as well as Mediation.

Cost? FREE.
Who? Same or opposite gender couples, domestic partnerships, co-habitating couples as well as married persons, with or without children are welcome.
When? Second Tuesday of the month, March-June 2015, Noon-1:30 p.m.
Location? Donald E. Wright Auditorium in the Pasadena Central Library, 285 East Walnut Street, Pasadena CA 91101 (across from the courthouse).
Parking? Attendees are asked to use nearby parking structures, not the limited parking of the library, which is donating the auditorium for this public service.
