PUSD Could Close Schools due to Outbreak

By Terry Miller

During Thursday’s school board announcements members announced that some PUSD staffers were being tested for coronavirus. The board also allotted Superintendent Brian McDonald ‘emergency powers’ to close schools if he deems it necessary. The emergency powers will allow McDonald to do so without further consulting with members of the board of education.
