Pasadena Bead & Design Show puts you face to face with independent artisans, studio artists, and craftspeople who make innovative, brilliant, and handcrafted jewelry, gemstones, beads, clothing, and other hard-to-find goods.

The show’s exhibitors include both traditional and contemporary bead artists, handcrafters, tradespeople, as well as young artisans and emerging artists, who give homage to traditional design, handcraft skills, natural colors, and sustainable materials. Many one-of-a-kind design pieces are offered exclusively at the show — everything from bold eclectic statement pieces to handmade gold earrings, from art beads to antique trade beads.

Attendees are given an opportunity to learn handcraft techniques –let their imaginations soar in one of the workshops taught by designers and artisans –and make jewelry, art beads, metal designs, Viking knit, conceptual clay pieces, enamel pendants, kumihimo necklaces, wire work earrings, mixed media art, fusion jewelry, artistic brooches, electroformed pieces, chainmaille, macramé bracelets, alchemy ornaments, and unique artisan gifts.

Pasadena Bead & Design Show also brings together an eclectic range of handcrafted media, including beadmaking, gem cutting, metalwork, jewelry art, lapidary, glass making, ceramics, glass lamp work, polymer clay, fashion design, millinery, weaving, textile arts, handspun yarn, felting, hand tooled leather, natural-dyed fiber, woodblock fabric printing, embroidery, hand sewn clothing, wearable art, enamel inlay, and ceramics.
