Monrovia League Meeting Features Historian Steve Baker

The Monrovia League will be holding their monthly meeting on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 122 S. California Ave. This meeting will be a salad luncheon with Monrovia city historian Steve Baker as guest speaker. 

He will discuss how Monrovia started and the women that made the city what it is today. Baker is the Monrovia history expert with an interesting tale to tell.

The league invites all in the community to enjoy a lunch and hear Baker tell of the women behind the men in the migration to Monrovia.
