City of Monrovia Launches Webpage for Covid-19 Updates

Although there are no confirmed cases in Monrovia, the city continues to prepare for COVID-19. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Health (DPH) confirmed two additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), totaling 16 cases in Los Angeles County. Additionally, DPH announced that all confirmed cases are being isolated and close contacts will be quarantined. It has also been confirmed that community transmission of the virus has occurred in Los Angeles County.

As more information circulates, the city reminds the community to be mindful of the sources of information. To provide community members with the most current and accurate information on COVID-19, the City of Monrovia has published a COVID-19 webpage with facts, safety precautions and the city’s response plan. To avoid misinformation, the city encourages the community to visit cityofmonrovia.org/COVID19. The city will also continue to post updated information on its social media platforms: Facebook and Twitter.
