
Although there are no confirmed cases in Monrovia, the city continues to prepare for COVID-19. On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Health (DPH) confirmed two additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), totaling 16 cases in Los Angeles County. Additionally, DPH announced that all confirmed cases are being isolated and close contacts will be quarantined. It has also been confirmed that community transmission of the virus has occurred in Los Angeles County.
As more information circulates, the city reminds the community to be mindful of the sources of information.
